On April 29, authorities found the body of Mr. HT, 80 years old, residing in Ward 6, Da Lat city, after 7 days of being swept away by floodwaters. The victim was found in the border area between Ward 5 and Ward 7, Da Lat city, downstream of Cam Ly stream.

This place is about 6km from where Mr. HT had the accident on the afternoon of April 23. The victim's body was stuck on a rock, surrounded by dense forest and bushes.

On the same afternoon, after completing the autopsy, the authorities handed over the victim's body to the family for funeral arrangements.

Previously, as reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper, on the afternoon of April 23, heavy rain occurred in Da Lat city, water from upstream rushed to To Ngoc Van stream, in Ward 6. At this time, Mr. HT unfortunately slipped and fell into the stream, and was swept away by the water.
