In his opening remarks, Mr. Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts and Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Circus Talent Competition - 2024, stated: "The competition is organized with the goal of contributing to honoring the values of circus art and the units, individuals, artists, and performers who have made positive contributions to the development of professional circus theater in our country."

Mr. Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, delivered the opening speech.
This is also an opportunity for art units, circus training facilities, artists, and performers to interact, exchange ideas, learn from each other, discover new approaches in creative artistic work, find solutions and methods of operation suitable to the situation, in order to create more works of high artistic quality that practically serve the people in the new era."
“At this competition, I hope that with their love for circus art, the participating units and artists will overcome all difficulties and challenges, always dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to their profession, their career, and the circus-loving public, and achieving the highest results. With circus art, a unique art form, I request that the Judging Panel, comprised of veteran People's Artists and Meritorious Artists in the circus profession, be fair and objective in discovering and honoring circus talents at this competition,” the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition expressed.

According to the organizers, this year's competition features nearly 100 artists and performers from various organizations: the Southern Arts Theatre, the Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts College, the Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theatre, and the Vietnam Circus Federation; presenting 20 entries in the following genres: acrobatics, juggling, balancing acts, magic, comedy, and animal training.
The performances by the participating units took place immediately after the Opening Ceremony and continued throughout the evenings of August 10th, 11th, and 12th. The closing ceremony and awards presentation were held on the evening of August 13th at the Central Circus Theater in Hanoi.
