In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Circus Talent Competition - 2024 said: "The competition is organized with the aim of contributing to honoring the values ​​of circus arts and units, individual artists and actors who have made positive contributions to the development of the country's professional circus stage.

This is also an opportunity for art units, circus training facilities, artists and actors to exchange, learn from each other, discover new discoveries in artistic creation, find solutions and methods of operation suitable to the situation, to have more works of high artistic quality, practically serving the people in the new period."

“At this Competition, I hope that with their love for circus art, the units and artists will overcome all difficulties and challenges, always devote themselves to their profession, to their career, to the circus-loving public and achieve the highest results. With circus art, a unique art form, I suggest that the Jury, who are People's Artists and Meritorious Artists, be fair and objective in finding circus talents to honor at this Competition,” said the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's competition has the participation of nearly 100 artists and actors from the following units: Phuong Nam Art Theater, Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts College, Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theater, Vietnam Circus Federation; bringing 20 performances in the following categories: acrobatics, juggling, balancing, magic, comedy, animal training.

The performances of the participating units took place right after the Opening Ceremony and lasted on the evenings of August 10, 11, and 12. The Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony of the Competition took place on the evening of August 13 at the Central Circus, Hanoi.
