In the northern region, today's live pig prices (August 3, 2024) remained largely unchanged, trading in the range of 64,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, traders in Bac Giang and Hung Yen are buying live pigs at 66,000 VND/kg, which is recorded as the highest price in the region.
Traders in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh are currently buying live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 65,000 VND/kg.
Latest live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
In this region, today's live pig prices decreased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg in some localities compared to yesterday and fluctuated between 61,000 and 64,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, after a price reduction, traders in Lam Dong are buying live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, the same as in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Binh Thuan , which is the highest price in the region.

The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 63,000 VND/kg.
Pork prices in Southern Vietnam today, August 3, 2024
In the southern region, today's live pig prices decreased by 1,000 VND in some localities and fluctuated between 62,000 and 65,000 VND/kg.
After a price reduction, traders in Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Vung Tau are now buying live pigs at 64,000 VND, the same price as in Binh Phuoc, Long An, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Ca Mau, Tien Giang, and Soc Trang.
