Linking the launching of emulation campaigns to celebrate major holidays with caring for social welfare and showing gratitude.

Nguyen Ho Hai, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, commented that the advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, as well as political and social organizations, have closely followed the direction, tasks, and work program for the year, and the work plan for each quarter, to proactively advise and effectively carry out the tasks within their respective functions and responsibilities.

The agencies promptly advised the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to lead and direct the comprehensive and synchronized work of Party building and the political system, in conjunction with implementing the 2024 theme of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, achieving many positive results. The focus was on resolutely and persistently building and rectifying a clean and strong Party and political system. At the same time, it was emphasized strengthening discipline and order, and promoting the pioneering spirit, exemplary conduct, courage, dynamism, creativity, and willingness to think and act boldly among cadres and Party members.

In addition, the department successfully organized several major events in Ho Chi Minh City, including working sessions with delegations from the Central Government; promptly advised on the establishment of subcommittees for the 12th Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress in accordance with Directive No. 35 of the Politburo ; and issued a plan for preparing and organizing grassroots and higher-level Party congresses for the 2025-2030 term.

Recognizing the enormous workload of the agencies in the coming period, with many unexpected and emerging tasks, Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai requested that coordination, exchange, and information sharing between agencies be further improved.

At the same time, agencies proactively advise and effectively carry out tasks, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timeliness; effectively promoting the role of the Standing Committee of the Sub-committee assisting in the preparation and organization of the 12th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and the steering committees of the City Party Committee to promptly advise on leadership and direction for the comprehensive and synchronized implementation of Party building and the construction of the city's political system.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested that leaders of agencies proactively review, adjust, and supplement the job descriptions of their respective agencies, ensuring they are consistent with the list of job positions and the number of employees according to the allocated staffing quota, and reorganize the organizational structure and restructure the staff to ensure the capacity to successfully complete the tasks of each agency.

In addition, he advised on organizing emulation campaigns to celebrate major holidays in 2025, especially the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, and the Party congresses at all levels. He requested special attention to caring for the lives of the people, policy beneficiary families, meritorious individuals, poor households, and near-poor households, following the principle of leaving no one behind.
