In Dak Ru commune, Dak R'lap district (Dak Nong), the atmosphere at the end of April is more bustling than ever as the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Component 2 Project is about to start construction.

Component 2 project includes investment in the construction of a service road and an overpass through Dak Nong province. This project is invested by Dak Nong, with a total capital of about 338 billion VND from the local budget.

According to the plan, Dak Nong will start construction of Component 2 of the project on April 28, 2025. The groundbreaking ceremony will take place in Dak Ru commune, Dak R'lap district.

According to the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district, up to this point, households in the area preparing to start construction have agreed to hand over land so that the locality can prepare the site.

Of which, the majority of the area (over 3 sao) is the land of Mr. Hoang Kieu Bao, residential group 3, Kien Duc town, Dak R'lap district, which has had its trees counted and handed over to the construction unit for leveling the ground.

Sharing about his decision, Mr. Bao said that this is a national-scale project, not only of great significance to the development of the province but also contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the whole country.

Mr. Bao also hopes that from his consensus, good things will spread, especially the spirit of sacrificing the interests of each individual and family for common goals.

“For me, handing over the land is not only a responsibility but also a pride to contribute to this large-scale project. Especially, when the project was started on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, it is very meaningful,” Mr. Bao happily shared.

According to Mr. Bao, he received encouragement and responsible and affectionate words from the Secretary and Chairman of the Dak R'lap District People's Committee as well as the heads of local agencies and units.

He believes that the policies on compensation and site clearance for the project will be implemented satisfactorily and legally by the locality.

Mr. Bao's family has 4 plots of land affected by the expressway project. The first plot of land serving the ground for construction is about 480m long on Provincial Road 6, with valuable forest trees and waterfalls.

His family has voluntarily handed over land for many national-scale projects such as Long Thanh Airport (Dong Nai), Nhan Co Alumina Factory (Dak Nong)...

Apart from Mr. Bao, most of the local people have great trust and support for the project. Immediately after receiving the consent of Mr. Bao's family and other people, the authorities promptly conducted an inventory of assets, trees and leveled the ground, ready for the groundbreaking ceremony.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Sang, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Dak R'lap District Party Committee, the voluntary participation of Mr. Bao and the households in Dak Ru is of great significance to the locality in the work of clearing the land for the expressway project.

Mr. Bao's exemplary behavior has created favorable conditions for the district to successfully start the Component 2 Project. From this smooth start, the district hopes that the project will have "smooth sailing" in the coming time.

Mr. Sang also emphasized that the Party Committee, authorities and unions of Dak R'lap district have organized many meetings, propaganda and mobilized households to hand over land to implement the project.

In which, some experiences and good practices were drawn from the district such as respecting and listening to the people; telling the people to understand, making them believe.

"We have done a good job of propagating so that people understand and trust the policies of the Party and State. Therefore, we have created great consensus when implementing the project," Mr. Sang shared.

Complete the preparation for construction

According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Tu, Chairman of Dak R'lap District People's Committee, the locality has taken action very quickly and decisively in creating the ground to start construction of Component 2 Project.

The district focused on mobilizing human and material resources to prepare well for the groundbreaking day and accompanying activities. Dak R'lap has established a Steering Committee to implement the project.

In addition, the district established teams to carry out tasks related to land clearance; advising on resolving petitions, feedback, complaints and denunciations; inspecting the current status and resolving issues arising regarding land and assets outside the planning scope...

Problems arising in the process of land acquisition and site clearance are promptly resolved by the district in coordination with provincial departments, branches and sectors.

"Up to now, it can be affirmed that Dak R'lap district has carefully prepared the conditions, ready for the groundbreaking day of Component 2 Project," Mr. Tu affirmed.

According to the leader of the Dak Nong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the unit assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to be the investor of Component Project 2.

The unit has actively coordinated with departments, branches, localities, and related units to prepare and complete all work to ensure the project starts as planned.

The script and organization of the groundbreaking ceremony were prepared in accordance with the direction of Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi, which was "simple, thoughtful, complete, in the spirit of thrift, not heavy, not ostentatious".
