The Youth Union of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) and Son La Power Company (PC Son La) have just inaugurated a youth project including an outdoor reading area and 3 "Lighting up the countryside" routes in Yen Chau district, Son La.
This is one of the activities of "Customer Care and Electricity Saving in 2024" in Yen Chau district, Son La of EVNNPC. The youth project has a total value of 120 million VND. Including the outdoor reading area and 3 "Lighting up the countryside" routes, solar-powered lighting systems are installed along the roads of the villages: Ban Bat, Ban Dong and Ban Met Sai, Sap Vat commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province with 54 sets of solar lights mounted on existing steel poles, illuminating about 1,650m of internal roads and 1,144 people.

The project of Lighting up the Countryside Roads is a youth project with practical significance, helping people travel conveniently, ensuring security, order and traffic safety in the area, contributing to changing the appearance of the countryside and new countryside, contributing to building a civilized and modern lifestyle. The project uses modern lighting technology, saves energy and is environmentally friendly, minimizing power consumption.
Previously, the Youth Union of the Northern Power Corporation coordinated with PC Son La to build and donate books to the Outdoor Reading Area for Lien Chung Primary and Secondary School, Yen Chau District with the aim of creating a new reading space, combining nature and knowledge to inspire students to read.

On this occasion, EVNNPC youth union members organized propaganda, distributed leaflets on instructions for safe and economical use of electricity, standardized customer information and instructed customers on the use of electricity utilities and services for local people.
According to Ms. Trinh Thi Kim Ngan, Secretary of EVNNPC Youth Union, the handover event of the above youth project is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Northern Power Corporation (October 6, 1969 - October 6, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnam Revolutionary Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2024). In particular, projects such as "Lighting up the Countryside" and the Outdoor Reading Area not only contribute to improving the quality of life of the people but also promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the youth along with the local government to join hands to build a sustainable community.
