The "Lighting Up Rural Roads" project is a practical youth initiative that facilitates travel for residents, ensures security and traffic safety in the area, contributes to changing the face of rural areas, and helps build a civilized and modern lifestyle. The project utilizes modern, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly lighting technology, minimizing electricity consumption.
Previously, youth union members of the Northern Power Corporation collaborated with Son La Power Company to build and donate books to an outdoor reading area for Lien Chung Primary and Secondary School in Yen Chau district. The aim was to create a new reading space, combining nature and knowledge to inspire students to read.

On this occasion, EVNNPC youth union members organized a campaign to disseminate information and distribute leaflets on safe and economical electricity usage, standardize customer information, and guide customers on using electricity utilities and services for people in the area.
According to Ms. Trinh Thi Kim Ngan, Secretary of the EVNNPC Youth Union, the handover of the youth project is one of a series of activities celebrating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Northern Power Corporation (October 6, 1969 - October 6, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese revolutionary electricity industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2024). In particular, projects such as "Lighting up rural roads" and the outdoor reading area not only contribute to improving the quality of life for the people but also promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of young people working together with local authorities to build a sustainable community.
