Apple is trying to launch cheaper products to increase competitiveness.

Here are eight budget Apple devices expected to launch this year.

MacBook Air (M4)

The MacBook Air will be upgraded to the M4 chip, providing 25% faster multi-core CPU performance than the current version. The device can support two external displays and a 12MP camera with the Center Stage feature.

The MacBook Air M4 is expected to be launched by Apple in spring 2025 and will still keep the starting price at $ 1,099, 16GB RAM on all versions.

iPhone SE 4

According to rumors, the iPhone SE 4 will have a similar design to the iPhone 14 model, including a 6.1-inch OLED display, ‌Face ID‌, USB-C port, and 48MP rear camera.

The device is expected to be equipped with an A18 chip with 8GB of RAM, supporting Apple Intelligence and being the first product with a 5G modem designed by the company itself.

The iPhone SE 4 is likely to launch next March with an expected price ranging from $400 to $500, slightly higher than the current iPhone SE price of $429 due to significant upgrades.

iPad (11th generation)

The new generation iPad will keep the same 10.9-inch screen and Touch ID, but upgrade to the A17 Pro or A18 chip with 8GB RAM to support Apple Intelligence.

Apple is expected to launch a new generation iPad in the spring of 2025 with a price of $ 349, the ability to increase the basic storage capacity to 128GB.

AirTag (second generation)

AirTag 2 will use an upgraded Ultra Wideband chip to triple the tracking range, better Vision Pro integration, and an anti-spoofing speaker to enhance anti-tracking measures. Apple is expected to launch AirTag 2 in mid-2025 and maintain the current price of $29.

Command Center

Command Center will be a completely new smart home control center, with a 7-inch screen, built-in speakers, FaceTime-enabled camera, and proximity sensors for dynamic interface adjustments.

Command Center will run on a new operating system "homeOS" with control widgets and Siri integration. The product is expected to be launched by Apple in March 2025, with a price that can compete with Amazon's Echo Show (about 90 USD).

HomePod mini (2nd generation)

The second-generation HomePod mini is expected to feature an Apple-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, support Wi-Fi 6E, improved audio quality, and a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for better transmission. It is expected to launch in mid-2025 and retain the same $99 price tag.

Apple TV 4K (4th generation)

The new ‌Apple TV‌ 4K is rumored to use an A16 chip or later, support Wi-Fi 6E, and possibly have a FaceTime camera built in. It’s expected to launch in 2025, with a starting price that could drop to $99, from its current $129, to better compete with rivals like Amazon’s Fire TV Stick.

Apple Watch SE (3rd generation)

The ‌Apple Watch SE‌ 3 will be equipped with a larger screen by Apple, using the S10 or S11 chip and possibly using a plastic case to reduce costs.

The device is expected to launch in late 2025 with a starting price of $249, or possibly a little lower to compete with rivals and attract parents to buy it for their kids.
