The iPhone SE 4 will be a bit more expensive than its predecessor, but the price won't exceed $500. |
Bloomberg tech expert Mark Gurman recently revealed in his Power On newsletter that iPhone SE inventory at most Apple Stores in the US is "rapidly" depleting. He said this is a "reliable sign" that the new generation is about to be launched.
However, users can still order the iPhone SE through Apple's online store.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone SE 4 will be released by Apple around the first quarter of 2025. This means the device could launch in March or April this year, similar to previous iPhone SE models.
The rumored iPhone SE 4 will feature a host of new features including: Face ID, a 6.1-inch OLED display, a USB-C port, a 48-megapixel single rear camera, a newer A-series chip, 8GB of RAM with enhanced Apple Intelligence support, and the first 5G modem designed by Apple itself.

Recently, some mockup images of the iPhone SE 4 were also shared by source Sonny Dickson on social networks. The revealed images show the device with an aluminum frame, glass back, single rear camera, LED flash and microphone placed to the right of the camera.
In addition, the iPhone SE 4 still uses a sound mode switch lever, instead of being integrated with the Action key like the new iPhone models. This design also helps Apple cut product costs.
The current iPhone SE starts at $429, but it's likely the price of the new model will increase slightly.
