In 2023, Ha Nam province surpassed many strong competitors to be honored as the "World's Leading Local Cultural Destination".

Located at the southern gateway to Hanoi, about 65 km from the capital, Ha Nam province is a land rich in potential for developing spiritual, cultural, ecological, and culinary tourism, possessing a diverse, rich, and distinctive system of historical relics, scenic spots, and traditional craft villages.

Among them, the Long Doi Son Pagoda Complex (Tien Son commune, Duy Tien town) is one of the famous scenic spots of the ancient Son Nam region, with a long history and reflecting a flourishing period of Buddhism in the nation's history.

Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda (or Dung Pagoda), nearly 1,000 years old, has become one of the hottest tourist destinations in Ha Nam after its restoration, boasting a beauty that is both ancient and poetic.

Another famous spiritual destination in Ha Nam is the Tam Chuc tourist area, often likened to Ha Long Bay on land, with its ancient and serene architecture set against a backdrop of majestic mountains and clear blue lakes.
