General Phan Van Giang commended the General Staff, the Air Defense - Air Force Command, and other agencies and units for their research and development of the "Sustainable Air Defense Dome" operational plan, as well as for successfully organizing the workshop on "methods of combat against UAVs".
The General requested that in the coming period, the plan be further refined based on practical experience, ensuring feasibility, consistency, and effectiveness.
At the same time, he called for intensified research, mastery of technology, enhanced international cooperation, and training of high-quality human resources to meet the demands of the new situation.

The "Sustainable Air Defense Dome" operational plan is one of the key strategic objectives aimed at building a widespread, multi-layered, robust, and modern air defense system capable of early detection, rapid response, effective interception, and firm protection of the nation's airspace and assigned targets.
According to the General Staff's report, the "Sustainable Air Defense Dome" operational plan is built on the basis of inheriting traditional experience combined with the application of new scientific and technological achievements, aiming to enhance the capabilities of surveillance, command and control, and coordinated combat operations among forces, with the Air Defense - Air Force Command as the core.
The results of the workshop on "methods of combat against UAVs" provide a basis for researching and perfecting methods of combat against various types of UAVs. This is of great importance both theoretically and practically, contributing to improving the effectiveness of organizing and utilizing armed forces, equipment, and appropriate combat strategies in modern combat conditions.
