The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel advises citizens to limit visits to crowded places and areas at risk of attacks by Israeli forces, given the increasingly complex conflict situation.
Given the risk of escalating conflict following the deaths of high-ranking leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah, and the knife attack that occurred in the area on August 4th, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel issued a warning on the same day, urging the Vietnamese community living, studying, and working there to heighten their vigilance.
The announcement stated that a stabbing attack occurred in the Israeli city of Holon on the morning of August 4th (local time), resulting in two deaths and three injuries.
Authorities believe this was a terrorist attack and predict an increase in criminal activity by Arab groups in Israel. Simultaneously, there are predictions of attacks deep within Israeli territory in the near future.
To ensure absolute safety, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel advises the community to regularly monitor updates on the situation through reputable local media outlets.
Avoid crowded areas, areas that are not secure, and areas at risk of attacks by Israeli forces.
Strictly adhere to the regulations and guidelines on security and safety measures issued by the local authorities. Proactively develop plans and strategies to ensure the safety and security of yourself and your family in the context of war.
Maintain regular contact and keep informed of the situation with the Embassy's contact persons in case of emergencies or when assistance is needed.
Earlier, on July 30, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel also issued a notice advising the Vietnamese community there to take several measures to ensure their security and safety, following an Israeli airstrike targeting a high-ranking Hezbollah commander in Lebanon.
On August 1st, the Israeli National Security Council (NSC) also issued a travel warning to its citizens, advising them to avoid travel to approximately 40 countries worldwide due to the risk of terrorism.
