Previously, fishing boat NT-90330 with 9 fishermen, specializing in catching fish in the waters of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, was on its way back to Ca Na fishing port when it was sunk by waves in Tuy Phong sea (Binh Thuan), about 18 nautical miles from Ca Na port.

Upon receiving the news, fishing boat NT-91174 of Mr. Phan Van Cam in Lac Son village, Ca Na commune, which was operating nearby, came to the rescue, brought the 9 fishermen in distress onto the boat, and safely reached shore at noon the same day.
