On April 29, in Hanoi, the Institute of Education and Environmental Sciences, the Vietnam Cultural and Reading Foundation, the Institute of Cultural Anthropology, and the Hanoi Writers Association co-organized the launch of the book "The Road to the Future" - volume 1 by researcher and writer Nguyen Xuan Tuan.

Introducing the book, Director of the Institute of Educational and Environmental Sciences Nguyen Van Khuong affirmed that the book project "The Road to the Future" has been implemented since 2019, with the advice of a large team of experts, scientists and researchers in many fields, especially the dedication of researcher and writer Nguyen Xuan Tuan. The project hopes to bring in-depth insights into the future development of the country in the fields of: Culture, history, economy, education, health, agriculture, science, technology and society, thereby contributing a small part to the process of building a strong and sustainable Vietnam.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khuong, this book project is not only a research project, but also a part of the reading culture movement that is being encouraged in Vietnam. The content in the book brings useful and practical knowledge to the community and society, helping people better understand the important issues that the country is facing, thereby contributing to the common development.

According to researcher and writer Nguyen Xuan Tuan, “The Future Road” is the result of a research and contemplation process that lasted more than 5 years. The author and project members went to many localities in the country and many countries around the world to research, search, and gather knowledge. “The book is not only a collection of knowledge, but also becomes a panoramic, multi-dimensional picture of a number of areas of development of the country in the future. The core message of the book focuses on forecasting a number of key areas such as socio-economic development, forecasting hazards and risks. In addition, the book provides predictions, orientations, and solutions for sustainable and long-term development, not only for each individual, each cooperative, each enterprise, but also for the eternal development of the nation, the country and the Vietnamese people,” author Nguyen Xuan Tuan shared. In addition, the book also honors the values ​​of beliefs and religions, contributing to preserving and promoting the beauty of national culture, including tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

The book “The Road to the Future” - volume 1 published by Sports and Tourism Publishing House, 987 pages thick, with 5 chapters: “Humanity and the spiritual journey, the journey from the past to the present, to the future”, “Model of sustainable economic development and economic risk management in the new era”, “Sustainable harmonious social development - Some social risk contingencies”, “Towards a sustainable national culture forever and some cultural risk management solutions”, “The era of national growth and the path to the future”.

The special feature that creates the academic value and depth of thought of the book is the accompanying advice of many prestigious experts and intellectuals in various fields. Among them, we can mention historian Le Van Lan, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huu Son, writer Phung Van Khai, journalist Ta Quang Dung, businessman Luu Viet Dung, etc.
