The first prize winning logo design by artist Nguyen Cong Quang was unanimously chosen by the Propaganda Department (Central Propaganda Department) and the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Committee as the logo to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital's Liberation Day.
On August 10, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) held an award ceremony - opening the exhibition of the contest to create propaganda paintings and logos to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

According to Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Do Dinh Hong, although the contest was launched for only 2 months, 50 provinces, cities and agencies and units responded with more than 300 professional and non-professional authors. The organizing committee received 700 entries. The organizing committee selected 26 outstanding entries to present awards. The logo design award has 1 first prize. The propaganda poster creation award has 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 7 third prizes, and 10 consolation prizes. The first prize winning work of logo design by artist Nguyen Cong Quang was unanimously chosen by the Propaganda Department (Central Propaganda Department) and the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Committee as the logo to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital's liberation. Along with the 26 winning entries, the organizing committee selected 45 high-quality entries to display at the Exhibition House 45 Trang Tien (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).

According to the evaluation, the propaganda paintings in the contest all reflected the content and criteria of the contest. Many of the works in the contest have a new artistic style, overcoming the old ways in composing propaganda paintings. The contest has mobilized the talents, enthusiasm and intelligence of many professional and non-professional artists, art associations, agencies, units, universities specializing in fine arts and graphic design. The works have highlighted the propaganda and educational content about the great historical significance of the Capital Liberation Day, the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Party Committee and people of Hanoi in the cause of national liberation, the aspiration to build and develop the capital "Cultured - Civilized - Modern", and propagate the heroic sacrifice "Determination to die for the Fatherland" of the army and people of Hanoi. The works also promote the achievements of the capital over 70 years of construction and development and nearly 40 years of innovation in the fields of culture, economy , society, health, science and technology.
