The Vietnamese stock market traded on October 9 with improved liquidity compared to the trading session at the end of last week. Cash flow increased, leading to a fairly even recovery in all industry groups.
Of which, the fertilizer - chemical, oil and gas and steel stocks increased sharply. Specifically, the oil and gas group had PVC increase by 6.75%, BRS increase by 5.1%, OIL increase by 5%, PVS increase by 3.8%, PVD increase by 2.71%, GAS increase by 2.85%...
The fertilizer - chemical group had the highest increase in CSV, DCM increased by 5.4%, PDM increased by 3.81%, BFC increased by 2.85%, DGC increased by 2.11%. The top 3 steel stocks also increased strongly with NKG increased by 4.18%, HSG 3.2%, HPG, 2.2%...
Besides, real estate stocks also continued to increase well with NLG increasing by 4.04%, VHM increasing by 2.06%, NVL increasing by 3.24%, DIG increasing by 3.81%, DXG increasing by 3.59%, DXS increasing by 4%, PDR increasing by 2.16%, SCR increasing by 2.2%, CII increasing by 2.51%...
The group of securities stocks with many stocks increasing strongly such as VCI increased by 3.85%, VND increased by 3.35%, VDS increased by 2.33%, HCM increased by 2.18%, VIX increased by 1.98%, MBS increased by 1.82%, FTS increased by 2.19%, BSI increased by 5.13%...
The banking group has ACB increasing by 3.21%, CTG increasing by 1.57%, EIB increasing by 1.47%, LPB increasing by 2.55%, VPV increasing by 2.15%, VIB increasing by 1.34%... contributing to the VN-Index increasing by nearly 9 points.
At the end of the trading session, VN-Index increased by 8.82 points (0.78%) to 1,137.36 points with 352 stocks increasing, 145 stocks decreasing and 60 stocks remaining unchanged. At the end of the session on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, HNX-Index also increased by 3.1 points (1.35%) to 233.55 points with 123 stocks increasing, 52 stocks decreasing and 54 stocks remaining unchanged.
Liquidity improved compared to the last session of the week but remained low, with total transaction value across the market only around VND16,000 billion, of which HOSE accounted for nearly VND14 billion.
