Robusta Coffee Price London April 30, 2025

On the London floor, at 4:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025, at the end of the trading session, Robusta coffee prices turned sharply down, down from 110 - 115 USD/ton compared to yesterday's trading session, fluctuating between 5,103 - 5,524 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for July 2025 is 5,298 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 is 5,251 USD/ton; the delivery price for November 2025 is 5,188 USD/ton and the delivery price for January 2026 is 5,102 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee price on New York floor on April 30, 2025

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor in the early morning of April 30 was dominated by red, the market fell sharply, the decrease was from 8.30 - 9.90 compared to yesterday's trading session, fluctuating from 373.20 - 418.90 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in July 2025 was 401.75 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 was 392.00 cents/lb; the delivery period in December 2025 was 382.55 cents/lb and the delivery period in March 2026 was 375.20 cents/lb.

Brazilian Arabica coffee price on April 30, 2025

At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee tended to increase - decrease across delivery terms, fluctuating between 471.35 - 521.90 USD/ton. Recorded as follows: May 2025 delivery period is 521.90 USD/ton; July 2025 delivery period is 504.45 USD/ton; September 2025 delivery period is 483.20 and December 2025 delivery period is 471.75 USD/ton.

Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day) Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

Domestic coffee prices - market increased slightly.

According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, April 30, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces increased slightly again, an increase of 100 - 200 VND/kg compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the average purchase price is at 130,700 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 130,800 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 130,200 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 130,700 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 130,800 VND/kg.

The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

According to experts, the coffee market is currently facing many factors, both positive and negative. In the short term, coffee prices may continue to be under downward pressure, but there is also a chance of recovery if supportive factors appear. Producers and traders need to closely monitor market developments and prepare appropriate strategies to cope with fluctuations.

Commenting on the recent decline in Robusta prices, the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) said the main reason was the easing of the US-China trade war. In addition, Robusta from Brazil and Indonesia is about to enter harvest season.

Experts say that the price of Vietnamese Robusta coffee is cheaper when compared to Arabica. Meanwhile, the quality of Robusta has been improved and recognized by the world, and is being included in the roasted coffee formula with an increasingly high rate. With the price of Robusta being much lower than Arabica, Vietnam's main coffee has an advantage. Currently, when most coffee supplies to the US are subject to an additional 10% tax, Vietnamese Robusta still has an advantage because Arabica is already expensive, and now the tax will be even more expensive.

The domestic coffee market in 2025 has a positive outlook thanks to increased production, expanded exports and stable prices. However, farmers need to focus on quality and sustainability to meet international standards, especially the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) which comes into effect at the end of 2024.
