The rising USD puts great pressure on gold prices today
At around 6:00 a.m. on April 30, the world's spot gold price today was at 3,318 USD/ounce, down 20 USD compared to the same time the previous day at 3,338 USD/ounce.
The rising USD puts great pressure on gold prices today. This precious metal has an inverse relationship with the USD, making it difficult for gold prices to maintain stability.
On the other hand, the 10-year US bond yield is currently at 4.23%, attracting investors to bonds, reducing the attractiveness of gold prices today.
Meanwhile, the US stock market has been on the rise, limiting the flow of money into precious metals. Gold prices today are under further downward pressure. Crude oil prices have fallen, trading around $60.75/barrel, creating negative sentiment for the precious metals market, including gold.
In Vietnam, as of the end of April 29, the listed price of SJC gold was 121.3 million VND/tael (selling price), while the price of gold rings reached 116.5 million VND/tael.
