National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed Resolution No. 1112 of the National Assembly Standing Committee approving Mr. Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Culture and Education Committee of the 15th National Assembly.

The Resolution takes effect from August 1, 2024. During his tenure as Vice Chairman of the Culture and Education Committee of the 15th National Assembly, Mr. Trieu The Hung received a position allowance coefficient of 1.3.

Mr. Trieu The Hung was born in 1971, in Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi. He is an Associate Professor, Doctor of Cultural Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts and Culture Education.

Before being approved to hold the new position, Mr. Hung was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province. He was also a delegate to the 14th and 15th National Assembly, and a member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education.

Mr. Trieu The Hung worked for a long time at the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education before being assigned to work locally.
