Updated schedule for the announcement of university admission scores in Vietnam for 2024.

Each day, schools will collaborate with the Ministry of Education and Training to follow the correct procedures for receiving data, organizing the selection process, and submitting the selection results to the system. All selection methods (approximately 20 methods) will be conducted in a single round on the Ministry of Education and Training's system.

After the final virtual filtering process is complete, universities will enter the admission scores and selection results into the system, review them, and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule. Thus, after this period, universities can announce the cut-off scores and admission results to candidates.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires universities to announce the admission scores no later than 5 PM on August 19th. Each candidate will only be admitted to their highest-ranked choice.

Recently, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced its projected admission cutoff scores for 64 majors and training programs based on the aptitude test scores and the 2024 high school graduation exam scores on August 17th.

The Banking Academy is also expected to announce its admission scores on August 17th. Meanwhile, the National Economics University stated that it expects to announce its admission scores on August 19th.

Some universities, such as Hanoi University of Industry and the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, are expected to announce their admission scores on August 19th.

Currently, candidates nationwide are in the process of paying their university admission registration fees. The virtual filtering process will take place from 12 PM to 4 PM on August 17th, after which universities will announce the 2024 admission scores.

Representatives from the University of Industry and Trade stated that the university will announce the admission scores on August 17th. Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Dung, Director of Information and Communication at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, said that the admission scores will be announced in the late afternoon/evening of August 17th. Similarly, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance and Nha Trang University also plan to announce their admission scores in the late afternoon/evening of August 17th.

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy is expected to announce its admission cutoff scores on August 19th. This is also the time when Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Saigon University, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Education plan to announce their cutoff scores. Currently, many universities anticipate higher cutoff scores compared to last year.
