TPO - The underpass at the intersection of Tran Quoc Hoan - Phan Thuc Duyen, part of package 9 (Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project, Tan Binh district) will be opened to traffic tomorrow afternoon (August 10).

On August 9, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport announced the organization of traffic to serve the opening ceremony and put into operation of the underpass project of the road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan Street - Cong Hoa Street, Tan Binh District.

According to plan, the opening ceremony of the Tran Quoc Hoan - Phan Thuc Duyen intersection tunnel (Tan Binh district) under package 9 (Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project) will take place tomorrow afternoon (August 10).

During the opening ceremony, vehicles are prohibited from traveling on Phan Thuc Duyen Street (from Phan Dinh Giot Street to Tran Quoc Hoan Street) from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on August 10.

Alternative traffic route: Hoang Van Thu street - Phan Dinh Giot street - turn left onto Truong Son street - Tran Quoc Hoan street - Cong Hoa street, Hoang Van Thu street.

After the opening ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport will organize traffic to put this underpass into operation.

Specifically, from 7:00 p.m. on August 10, vehicles will begin to move through the underpass at the Tran Quoc Hoan - Phan Thuc Duyen intersection.

Vehicles traveling from Phan Dinh Giot Street to Cong Hoa Street and Hoang Van Thu Street can travel along the following route:

Route 1: Phan Dinh Giot Street - Phan Thuc Duyen Street - Thang Long Street - Cong Hoa Street.

Route 2: Phan Dinh Giot Street - Phan Thuc Duyen Street - Tran Quoc Hoan Street - Cong Hoa Street, Hoang Van Thu Street.

The project of connecting road between Tran Quoc Hoan and Cong Hoa streets (Tan Binh district) has a total investment of about 4,848 billion VND. The goal of this project is to build a road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan and Cong Hoa streets, connecting directly to Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

The route has a total length of more than 4 km, a scale of 6 lanes with a design speed of 50 km/h. On the route, there is an overpass in front of Terminal T3 with a total length of 988 m, a cross-section of 17 m (4 lanes) and 2 underpasses at the intersection of Phan Thuc Duyen Street - Tran Quoc Hoan Street with a total length of 400 m, a cross-section of 9 m (2 lanes) and at the intersection of Truong Chinh Street - Tan Ky Tan Quy Street with a total length of 350 m, a cross-section of 9 m (2 lanes).

The underpass at the intersection of Phan Thuc Duyen and Tran Quoc Hoan streets, which is about to open to traffic, will cost about 200 billion VND. After the underpass opens, vehicles can go from Phan Thuc Duyen - Thang Long - turn left to Cong Hoa, instead of concentrating on Lang Cha Ca roundabout as before.
