At the meeting, representatives of the Board of Directors - Editorial Board of Binh Phuoc Radio - Television and Newspaper (BPTV) gave an overview of the organizational structure and operation of the agency after the merger of Binh Phuoc Radio - Television and Binh Phuoc Newspaper.

Chairman of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Journalists Association, Doan Nhu Vien, also briefly informed about the organizational structure, apparatus, and operation of the association. Accordingly, in recent times, the association has continued to grow strongly in terms of quantity; its activities have had many positive changes, going into depth with many outstanding events affirming the role and position of a political - social - professional organization of Binh Phuoc journalists in social life.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Journalists Association requested the Vietnam Journalists Association to continue supporting the training and fostering of professional qualifications for Binh Phuoc journalists; consider and guide the expansion of membership; expand the scope of granting journalist cards to staff working at district-level radio stations, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, journalist Le Quoc Minh highly appreciated the efforts of BPTV in investing and improving the quality of propaganda work as well as association activities.

Journalist Le Quoc Minh emphasized that, in the face of the rapid development of information technology and the challenge of artificial intelligence, Nhan Dan Newspaper itself as well as local Party newspapers need to change their methods, trends in journalism, approaches to issues, increase the application of modern journalism technology, improve the quality and effectiveness of attractive and engaging information and propaganda, attract readers, and fulfill their assigned functions and tasks well.

“Social networking platforms, especially Facebook with over 70 million users in Vietnam, along with the emergence of artificial intelligence, have led to fierce competition for information. Therefore, press agencies must focus on improving the quality of information, packaging products, and learning how to manage artificial intelligence products. At the same time, create connections between press agencies to attract the public,” emphasized journalist Le Quoc Minh.

Journalist Le Quoc Minh said that in the coming time, the Vietnam Journalists Association and Nhan Dan Newspaper will increase information and professional exchange activities, and provide maximum support to local press agencies towards the goal of becoming a multimedia, multi-platform press agency. Providing information in the right direction, attractive and easy to access for all classes of readers.

For the Binh Phuoc Provincial Journalists Association, in the coming time, it is necessary to launch emulation movements with specific tasks to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
