This year's "Supporting Students to School" scholarship program for new university students, organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper, is expected to award approximately 1,100 scholarships across all 63 provinces and cities nationwide, with a total budget of nearly 20 billion VND (excluding organizational costs, souvenirs, and learning materials for new students...).

With the theme "New students facing difficulties, Tuoi Tre newspaper is here to help," the newspaper reaffirms the commitments it has made over the past 21 years: As long as there are students facing difficulties, we will continue to find ways to support them!
Over the past 21 years, Tuoi Tre newspaper and its benefactors have supported 24,597 new university students, distributing over 219 billion VND (covering scholarship costs, organizational expenses, gifts, travel and accommodation support for new students, etc.) across all 63 provinces and cities. And there are many other figures and values that are difficult to quantify.
Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND for disadvantaged new students, and there are 20 special scholarships for outstanding new students, totaling 1 billion VND (50 million VND per scholarship/4 years).
The program gives special priority to new students from remote areas, regions severely affected by floods, droughts, salinity intrusion, and border and island areas… The number of scholarships in each province and city depends on the circumstances of the new students and the total funding contributed by sponsors and readers of Tuoi Tre newspaper.
Twelve scholarship awarding points are planned across the country as part of this year's program. The first will be in Hoi An City (Quang Nam province), for new students from Da Nang and Quang Nam, on September 21st.
The remaining award ceremonies will take place in several other provinces and cities. The final scholarship award ceremony, concluding the 2024 "Supporting Students to School" program in Ho Chi Minh City for new university students in Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of the Southeast region, is expected to be held in November.
