| Apple releases iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 beta 2 |
It is known that beta 2 of iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 appeared about 3 weeks after Apple released the first test version.
Registered developers can now download the iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 beta 2 updates from the Settings app on compatible devices by going to General > Software Update.
There are no new Apple Intelligence features in iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and the updates are available for all compatible iPhone/iPad models. The software is also expected to bring support for robot vacuums in HomeKit, but there are no notable changes to be found in the first beta.
The iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 updates will likely focus primarily on bugs and minor software improvements, with additional Siri Apple Intelligence functionality coming in later iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 updates.
It is expected that the iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 updates will be released by Apple to users at the end of January.
