ANTD.VN - To optimize the customer experience in health insurance services, AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Company (AIA Vietnam) has officially introduced AIA Digital Health Services (DHS) from July 1, 2024.

DHS is AIA Vietnam's strategic direction aimed at building capacity to manage the insurance claims processing experience and proactively care for customers with health insurance.

Currently, AIA Vietnam has established a network of partner hospitals and clinics to provide easy and fast medical expense guarantee services to customers nationwide. This network will continue to expand in the future.

Accordingly, from July 1st, 2024, customers who purchase health insurance products in new contracts or add to existing contracts will have their insurance benefits directly processed by AIA Vietnam.

Previously, AIA Vietnam also launched the "Family Blasting" health insurance product, a comprehensive insurance solution aimed at providing healthcare for the whole family, meeting the growing needs of customers. This product offers comprehensive healthcare benefits covering inpatient treatment, day treatment, emergency care, and cancer. In addition, customers can also choose to include outpatient treatment and dental care.

When participating in the product, customers receive support for treatment costs up to 1 billion VND; cancer benefits are paid according to actual medical expenses; support for expectant mothers and babies throughout the pregnancy; free insurance for the second child; become an AIA Vitality member to receive rewards up to 60% of the insurance premium; and comprehensive healthcare.

With a commitment to providing a superior experience throughout the entire journey, from the moment customers begin participating until they request insurance claim settlement or contract termination, ensuring integrity, transparency, and speed in the insurance claim settlement process, AIA Vietnam has become one of the pioneering companies in applying artificial intelligence (AI) in claims assessment.

With this technology, the assessment process will be accurate and fast, and customers can receive their money within 10 minutes (for cases that meet the conditions of the AI ​​and the insurance contract).

Currently, 100% of AIA Vietnam's customers have submitted insurance claim applications online via iClaim, which is integrated into the AIA+ application. Accordingly, customers only need an internet-connected device (smartphone, tablet, or computer) and approximately 5 minutes (for applications with complete documentation) along with a few simple steps to complete an online insurance claim request, anytime and anywhere.

According to AIA Vietnam's statistics over the past two years, 70% of insurance benefit claims were processed immediately, with a same-day success rate of 81%. AIA Vietnam also reports that approximately 85.89% of claims were processed within the first five years, and this figure rises to 98% within the first ten years.

AIA Vietnam's efforts have been highly appreciated by customers, with 87.7% of customers satisfied with AIA Vietnam's insurance claims processing services and 87.6% satisfied with their experience using or operating iClaim - the online insurance claims processing application, according to the company's survey.

To date, AIA Vietnam has paid out insurance benefits to hundreds of thousands of cases, totaling over 13 trillion VND. In 2022 and 2023 alone, AIA Vietnam paid out an average of approximately 240,000 insurance benefits annually, totaling nearly 2 trillion VND each year.

AIA Vietnam also collaborates with Teladoc Health, a leading global online healthcare provider, to offer the Medical Companion service. This service helps customers overcome emotional challenges and provides professional support on their journey to fight cancer and serious illnesses, from diagnosis to treatment, through steps such as verifying diagnoses, determining treatment plans, providing recommendations to appropriate doctors, and answering all questions during treatment.
