On the morning of August 7, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the results of additional public grade 10 enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year. The additional public grade 10 enrollment is to ensure the rights of students who fail all 3 wishes due to many reasons such as setting inappropriate wishes, choosing the wrong wish, but with high exam scores, they can continue studying at public schools in the city.

According to Mr. Le Hoai Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, in the 2024-2025 school year, the Department of Education and Training has applied a regional priority mechanism for students at secondary schools in outlying districts such as Cu Chi, Nha Be, Can Gio, Hoc Mon, Binh Chanh and Thu Duc City. Candidates applying to high schools in the same area as this secondary school will be considered according to NV1.

Specifically, candidates who submit additional admission applications to high schools in the same area as this middle school will be considered based on the standard score of their first choice.

The application of regional priority has brought some advantages to candidates and high schools such as ensuring the rights of candidates in remote areas with many difficulties to continue studying at public high schools; helping high schools in remote areas to enroll enough students compared to the assigned quota.

After high schools announce the list of additional admitted candidates, from August 7 to 4:00 p.m. on August 12, the schools will organize to receive admitted candidates.
