The second quarter-final match, played at 10 PM on August 3rd, was equally thrilling, witnessing a spectacular "resurgence" by the Spanish women's Olympic team. The Colombian women's Olympic team played brilliantly to take a 2-0 lead after 52 minutes. However, the Spanish team showed great spirit, scoring late goals (in the 79th and 90+7th minutes) to equalize 2-2 and take the match into extra time. In Group B, the USA women's Olympic team had previously won convincingly 4-1 against Germany. Meanwhile, in Group C, the Spanish women's Olympic team defeated Brazil 2-0. The two semi-final matches of the women's football tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympics will take place at 11 PM on August 6th (Germany vs. USA) and 2 AM on August 7th (Spain vs. Brazil).
