Responsible Business
To welcome guests safely, in the days before the holiday, the authorities of coastal localities have proactively developed plans to ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting... proactively coordinated with local police to sign commitments with accommodation, tourism and food service businesses... to list prices, not solicit guests, and declare their stay to ensure safety, security and order during the holiday.
More than 250 accommodation establishments commit to selling at the right price, not soliciting tourists
Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hang, owner of accommodation business at 151 Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Thang Tam Ward, shared that signing the commitment will help businesses understand correctly and fully about business conditions, preventing all kinds of crimes.
According to Ms. Hang, healthy business and ensuring safety for tourists contribute to building Vung Tau's tourism brand.
"Instructing people in advance about conditional business is very useful. Businesses will know what is illegal and avoid it. That way, Vung Tau's tourism image will be better, and there will be no cases of soliciting customers or overcharging... and that will create a local tourism brand. I hope the police will regularly instruct employees and owners of tourism establishments to prevent current crimes," Ms. Hang added.
Before the ceremony, Thang Tam ward police organized propaganda and reminded accommodation establishments to ensure security, order, and fire prevention.
Mr. Nguyen Dang Thi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang Tam Ward, Vung Tau City, said that as a key tourist area of Vung Tau City, the locality regularly coordinates with the police to disseminate knowledge about security and order, crime prevention, fire prevention, etc. to accommodation and tourism service businesses to build a safe and civilized business environment.
Currently, some items at Bai Sau project have not been put into operation, however, to best serve tourists coming to celebrate the festival, the ward mobilized more than 250 service businesses to arrange free toilets for tourists to use.
According to Mr. Thi, during the April 30 - May 1 holiday in 2025, when the number of tourists increases, the awareness of law compliance, ensuring security and order, and fire prevention and fighting of tourist service establishments must be given top priority.
In the days before the holiday, many items at Bai Sau Park continue to be completed.
"In order for tourism activities to develop, first of all, service businesses must identify and realize that business must be healthy, prices must be public and posted to avoid soliciting tourists. During the holidays, fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation, and business premises must be strengthened. At the same time, the ward will ask households to sign a commitment on selling prices, and we will have a team to check prices during the holidays," said Mr. Thi.
Thang Tam Ward Police, Vung Tau City will strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations in business.
The leaders of Thang Tam Ward Police affirmed that before, during and after the April 30 holiday, they will strengthen inspections and strictly handle violations, and continue to accompany people and tourists in building a safe, friendly, and civilized tourism business environment, building a peaceful - developed - modern tourist city.
