The Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) announced that in the 1,234th draw of the Mega 6/45 product held tonight (August 7th), the Vietlott draw council determined that there was one winning ticket for the Jackpot prize worth 47,395,426,500 VND.
The winning numbers for the 1,234th draw of the Mega 6/45 lottery were: 11 - 19 - 22 - 29 - 40 - 44. The winning ticket for today's Jackpot contains these numbers.
According to regulations from the Ministry of Finance , lucky lottery winners will have to pay 10% personal income tax.
Therefore, the customer who won the Mega 6/45 jackpot today will have to pay over 4.7 billion VND in personal income tax to the local government that issued the winning ticket. After fulfilling their tax obligations, the jackpot winner will receive a net amount of nearly 43 billion VND.
In addition to the aforementioned Jackpot worth nearly 20 billion VND, in the 1,234th draw of the Mega 6/45 product, the Vietlott lottery committee also found 66 first prize winners, each worth 10 million VND, 2,323 second prize winners, each worth 300,000 VND, and 34,786 third prize winners, each worth 30,000 VND.
Winners have 60 days from the date the prize is announced to claim their winnings. After this period, the prize will be forfeited and added to Vietlott's other income category.
One day ago, in the 1070th draw of the Power 6/55 lottery held on the evening of August 6th, the Vietlott lottery council determined that one customer won the Jackpot 1 prize worth over 228 billion VND.
According to Vietlott's announcement, the owner of the winning Power 6/55 Jackpot 1 ticket purchased the lottery ticket through the Vietlott SMS application connected to the Viettel network.
