The Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) announced that in the 1,237th draw of the Mega 6/45 product held on the evening of August 14th, the Vietlott draw council determined that there was one winning ticket for the Jackpot prize worth 17,116,579,000 VND.
The winning numbers for the 1,237th draw of the Mega 6/45 lottery were: 01 - 06 - 09 - 21 - 43 - 44. The winning Jackpot ticket contained these numbers.
According to regulations from the Ministry of Finance , lucky lottery winners will have to pay 10% personal income tax.
Therefore, the customer who won the Mega 6/45 jackpot today will have to pay over 1.7 billion VND in personal income tax to the local government that issued the winning ticket. After fulfilling their tax obligations, the jackpot winner will receive a net amount of over 15 billion VND.
Recently, Vietlott has consistently found players winning Jackpot 1 and 2 prizes of significant value. Some prizes have reached tens or even hundreds of billions of VND.
In July alone, Vietlott consecutively found 9 winning tickets for Jackpot 1 and 2 in its Power 6/55 and Mega 6/45 lottery products, with a total value of over 51.6 billion VND.
In August, Vietlott once again found winning tickets for Jackpot 1 and 2 in both the Power 6/55 and Mega 6/45 lottery types.
On the evening of August 6th, during the 1070th draw of the Power 6/55 lottery, Vietlott found a customer who won the Jackpot 1 prize worth over 228 billion VND. According to Vietlott's announcement, the owner of the winning Power 6/55 Jackpot 1 ticket purchased the lottery ticket through the Vietlott SMS application connected to the Viettel network.
By the evening of August 7th, the Vietlott lottery council confirmed that one ticket had won the Jackpot in the 1,234th draw of the Mega 6/45 product, worth over 47 billion VND. The winner was a customer of the Viettel network.
On the evening of August 8th, Vietlott found another winning ticket for the Jackpot 2 prize worth nearly 5.5 billion VND in the 1071st draw of the Power 6/55 lottery. The winner of this prize is also a customer of the Viettel network.
On the evening of August 10th, Vietlott found one winning ticket for the Jackpot 2 prize worth over 3.2 billion VND in the 1071st draw of the Power 6/55 lottery. This ticket was sold at sales point number 71/9 Thong Nhat Street, Dai Son, Phan Rang City, Ninh Thuan Province.
And on the evening of August 14th, Vietlott found another winning ticket for the Mega 6/45 Jackpot, worth over 17 billion VND.
Since the beginning of July, in just one and a half months, Vietlott has found 14 winning tickets for Jackpot 1 and 2 in both the Power 6/55 and Mega 6/45 lottery types, with a total value of over 352.7 billion VND.
