The survey will continue at the relics of Con Son, Kiep Bac (Hai Duong) and Vinh Nghiem (Bac Giang) in the coming days.
The nomination dossier for the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Scenic Landscape Complex is a special project, with the participation of more than 100 domestic and international experts. This is the first time Vietnam has proposed to recognize an inter-provincial world heritage, including 6 special national relic sites and 32 relic sites spread across Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, and Bac Giang.
Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Hanh, shared: "We are looking forward to the support from the international expert team so that this dossier can be considered and recognized by UNESCO at the 47th session in 2025, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam."

Previously, in June 2024, a UNESCO/ICOMOS expert team conducted a survey at Bach Dang Stake Site, Quang Ninh. Important comments from this survey helped complete the nomination dossier.
If recognized, the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Scenic Landscape Complex will become Vietnam's first World Heritage Site involving many provinces and cities, contributing to raising Vietnam's cultural status in the international arena.
