Tuition fees for the standard training program of National Economics University in 2024.
According to the 2024 regular university enrollment plan announced in April, the National Economics University applies a regular tuition fee for the standard program of 16-22 million VND/academic year (an increase of 1-2 million VND/academic year compared to 2023), depending on the major/program.
Currently, the National Economics University has not announced the tuition fees for applied-oriented programs or programs in English.
The school also stated that the tuition fee increase roadmap is a maximum of 10% for each year and is implemented according to Decree 81 of the Government.
National Economics University also applies scholarships such as: Scholarships to encourage learning and scholarships from businesses. Specifically, scholarships to encourage learning are arranged at least 8% of the total tuition revenue of the school. Particularly for 4th year students, in semester I, the scholarship fund is arranged at 16% of the tuition revenue of the course, corresponding major group and semester 2 does not arrange scholarships to encourage learning.
With scholarships from businesses, these are scholarships provided by business organizations, alumni, and domestic and foreign benefactors. This type of scholarship can be granted through schools, faculties, institutes, or through socio-political organizations and unions, and is granted annually or on an ad hoc basis according to the requirements and conditions of the sponsoring unit.
This year, the National Economics University plans to enroll 6,200 students and 60 majors/training programs.
The school recruits students through 3 methods: considering high school graduation exam scores, direct admission, and admission based on a separate project. In particular, the school reduces the admission rate based on high school graduation exam scores to 18% (25% in 2023). At the same time, the school increases the admission rate based on a separate project to 80%. The remaining 2% is for direct admission.
The school opens 6 new majors, mainly in the field of engineering, including: Data Science (in the field of Mathematics and Statistics), Software Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Information Security (in the field of Computers and Information Technology), Labor Relations (in the field of Business and Management).
