The school also stated that the tuition fee increase will be a maximum of 10% each year and will be implemented in accordance with Government Decree 81.
The National Economics University also offers various types of scholarships, including academic achievement scholarships and scholarships from businesses. Specifically, academic achievement scholarships are allocated at a minimum of 8% of the university's total tuition fees. For fourth-year students, in the first semester, the scholarship fund is allocated 16% of the tuition fees for their respective course and major, and no academic achievement scholarships are allocated in the second semester.
Scholarships from businesses are awarded by corporate organizations, alumni, and philanthropists both domestically and internationally. These scholarships may be awarded through the university, faculty, institute, or socio -political organizations and associations, and can be granted annually or on an ad hoc basis depending on the requirements and conditions of the sponsoring entity.
This year, the National Economics University plans to recruit 6,200 students across 60 majors/training programs.
The university uses three admission methods: admission based on high school graduation exam scores, direct admission, and admission under its own scheme. Specifically, the university reduced the percentage of admissions based on high school graduation exam scores to 18% (from 25% in 2023). Simultaneously, the university increased the percentage of admissions under its own scheme to 80%. The remaining 2% is reserved for direct admission.
The university has opened six new majors, mainly in the engineering field, including: Data Science (Mathematics and Statistics), Software Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Information Security (Computer Science and Information Technology), and Labor Relations (Business and Management).
