French photographer Tina Merandon’s project captures simple yet emotional moments in the relationship between humans and animals. The photos reflect not only the connection in production but also in daily life, from small actions such as caring for pets to the connection between humans and nature. The exhibition aims to provoke thoughts about the possibility of harmonious coexistence between humans and other species in the context of the modern world.
Photographer Tina Merandon is known for her work that reflects the intersection, opposition, and connection between different relationships. She has received many prestigious awards, including the 1998 Kodak Prize for Photography Critics, the 2003 Jeune Création Prize, and the 2012 Roger Pic Special Mention.
During her 8 weeks working in Vietnam, from Ho Chi Minh City to Dak Lak and the Mekong Delta, Tina Merandon captured simple but memorable moments such as the image of a duckling nestled in her arms, the affectionate gaze towards a pet or the innocent smile of a child playing with a little goat... These photos are not only a reflection of reality but also lead viewers into a green space, where people and animals find connection through simple, intimate gestures.

The exhibition promises to bring viewers reflections on the close yet quiet companionship between humans and nature, especially in the context of the world striving for sustainable development.
The Villa Saigon Artist-in-Residence Program, for artists of French nationality or living in France, aims to promote artistic dialogue between France and Vietnam.
