The forum aims to create a forum for union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers to learn about the glorious tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the heroic history of the nation; express their thoughts, aspirations, proposals, and recommendations to solve issues related to the lives, jobs, and rights of workers.

The forum is a channel to receive comments and contributions from union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers on draft documents submitted to party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress, especially on issues related to the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union.

Through the Forum, it helps raise awareness of union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers about the leadership role of the Party, the achievements of the country, the historical mission of the working class, and the role of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new era.

The success of the Forum contributes to deepening the close relationship between the Party and the working class; at the same time affirming the belief of cadres, union members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the leadership of the Party in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise, realizing the aspiration of a strong country.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requests that the Forum be organized solemnly, practically, effectively, ensuring the participation of a large number of officials, union members, workers, representatives of Party committees and authorities. The content of the Forum focuses on practical issues that are of interest to union members and workers. The Forum needs to create an atmosphere of substantive, informal dialogue, helping union members and workers clearly feel the leadership and attention of the Party, creating motivation for them to contribute more to the common development.

The main theme of the Forum is: "Building a modern, strong working class and a strong Vietnamese Trade Union in the new era". Discussion topics include: Workers present difficult and pressing issues; make recommendations to the Party on strengthening the Party's leadership over the working class and trade unions in the new situation; pay attention to workers' jobs, lives, etc.; propose and contribute ideas to draft documents for Party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The time of organization is before the Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party. The selected locations must be suitable to the scale and nature of the forum. The forum is organized 15-20 days before the Party Congresses at all levels. At the same time, the Trade Unions at all levels grasp the thoughts and aspirations; organize to collect opinions, recommendations, and proposals of union members and workers in the management unit's area to concretize the content of the discussion at the Forum.
