On August 10, Brazilian aviation authorities announced that the black box of Voepass flight 2283, which crashed in Vinhedo city, Sao Paulo state, had been found and would be sent to Brasilia for analysis.
Speaking at a press conference in the capital Brasilia, the directors of the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Air Accidents (Cenipa) and the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) said that there was no emergency announcement from the pilots of the crashed flight that killed 61 people, including 57 passengers and 4 crew members.

Brigadier General Marcelo Moreno, Director of Cenipa, said the black boxes were still intact and it was too early to determine the cause of the tragedy. A representative of the Sao Paulo Military Police said there were no survivors in the accident.
Video shared on CNN shows the plane losing balance, spiraling down into a residential area and bursting into flames.
According to authorities, no one on the ground was injured. Both the aircraft and crew had all the necessary and valid licenses, as well as valid safety standards.
