Presenting a report on the performance of the Investor Magazine Journalists Association in the past time, journalist Pham Duc Son, Secretary of the Editor-in-Chief Party Cell and Secretary of the Investor Magazine Journalists Association, said that the Investor Magazine Journalists Association had to go through the 2021-2023 term with many difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic and complicated developments of the economy.

The Association of Journalists of the Investor Magazine has always been proactive and active in ensuring the quality of professional journalism work of the editorial office, while protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members. At the same time, it has made efforts to educate, train and enhance the responsibility of its members towards the activities of the Association of Journalists in general and towards the social community.

In addition, the Magazine promotes event organization activities. In 2023 alone, 13 seminars and discussions on hot economic topics were organized, creating a forum for contributing opinions to build and improve the investment and business environment. After each seminar and discussion, opinions were compiled and submitted to the Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises to report to competent authorities.

Speaking at the Congress, journalist Vu Thi Ha, Head of the Association's Working Committee (Vietnam Journalists Association) said that in the face of many economic difficulties, especially for magazines due to competition for information on social networks and other platforms, as well as the impact of the economy, the Investor Magazine Journalists Association has done a good job of gathering and uniting people working in the investment-business field, connecting foreign investors with domestic enterprises, contributing to building a team of journalists with strong political will, pure moral qualities, professional qualifications, and skills, meeting the requirements of the new era.

Journalist Vu Thi Ha also noted that the Association needs to pay attention to some key contents such as focusing on promoting the professional ethics of Vietnamese journalists; implementing well Directive No. 43-CT/TW dated April 8, 2020 of the Secretariat "on strengthening the Party's leadership over the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the new situation", implementing well the Press Law and 10 articles of the Regulations on professional ethics, Rules for using social networks of Vietnamese journalists.

In addition, it is necessary to build a multimedia press agency with a team of multi-talented reporters with high professional qualifications, meeting the requirements of the development of journalism in the 4.0 industrial era because this is an inevitable trend of today's press agencies. The role of the Journalists' Association in training and improving the professional qualifications of journalists is extremely urgent and important.

The Congress elected the Secretariat of the Investor Magazine Journalists Association, term III, 2024-2026, to take on the responsibility of connecting the team of journalists belonging to the Association, joining the general movement under the direction of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

The focus of the Journalists Association's activities for the 2024-2026 term is to contribute more substantially to further improving the professional quality of the team of journalists of the Investor Magazine, thereby contributing to the completion of the Magazine's common goals.
