The Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology currently has 2 campuses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, 4 research institutes and 1 affiliated short-term training center. The training scale of the Academy is currently about 25 thousand students, with 50 majors/training programs in 4 groups of fields: computers and information technology; engineering and technology; economics - management; journalism and multimedia communications.

The Academy always strives to innovate and pioneer in piloting new operating mechanisms, training new professions to meet social needs and focusing on researching and applying new technologies related to business and social problems.

Currently, the Academy is a leading university in digital transformation of higher education, having built a digital transformation architecture with a complete digital university ecosystem, all management activities and student support services are performed on mobile applications with a single "touch point".

In the period of 2025 - 2030, the Academy will continue to focus on rapid training of high-quality human resources for strategic technology fields such as AI and BigData, semiconductor chips, new generation telecommunications networks, low-altitude satellites, etc.; continue to pioneer digital transformation, develop digital universities to serve specialized subjects; promote innovation, form a national startup incubation center; become a national technology transfer center in key areas; become a research hub for training high-quality human resources, etc.

To complete the assigned tasks and develop rapidly, the Academy proposes a number of appropriate mechanisms and policies to promote potentials and advantages, and remove difficulties and obstacles such as: pilot mechanism for resource mobilization; allocating investment resources and land funds...

Concluding the working session, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that the Academy has a long-term vision, thinks deeply, and does great things; believes that the Academy's achievements over the years are very solid, layered, and increasingly developing and progressing with the country and the trend of the times.

In the coming time, the Prime Minister stated that the Academy must closely follow the situation, forecast the trends of the world and the country, from which to propose development goals, tasks, and solutions to have resonance; emphasizing that the trend of peace, cooperation and development is still the main stream of the times; in today's world, the situation is changing rapidly and unpredictably, no country can solve it alone, even the superpowers, so we must follow this stream, must speed up to catch up, progress together, and rise up. In particular, science, technology, and innovation are the major trends of the world, so the school must also follow this trend.

According to the Prime Minister, in the current situation, it is necessary to call for multilateralism, promote international solidarity; always take people as the center, the subject, the resource and the driving force for development. Develop quickly but sustainably; do not sacrifice social and environmental progress and justice to pursue economic growth alone.

For the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, the Prime Minister requested 5 pioneers: Pioneer in connecting 4 houses including the State - school - scientist - business and investor; Pioneer in innovation, digital transformation, scientific research; Pioneer in nurturing talent and building unicorns; Pioneer in autonomy and commercialization of products; Pioneer in daring to think, daring to do, daring to overcome one's own limits. With the spirit of "faster, faster, bolder, bolder", because science and technology have no limits, no borders.

To achieve the above goal, according to the Prime Minister, the Academy must have the fulcrum of solidarity and unity, "support from the front and the back, one call, all respond, top and bottom are of one mind, clear communication", "respect time, intelligence and timely decisiveness"; building the school as the foundation, teachers as the driving force, students as the center.

According to the Prime Minister, teachers must create motivation and inspiration for students. All school activities must be student-oriented, creating opportunities for students, creating opportunities for them to contribute to the school; linking study and work; contributing to changing the situation, transforming the country's state of strategic infrastructure, especially digital transformation infrastructure, high-quality human resources; developing the digital economy, digital society and digital citizens.

Regarding the recommendations and proposals of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, the Prime Minister requested the Academy to develop a project, have an official document to submit to relevant levels in a systematic and professional manner according to the roadmap; request ministries and branches to only do state management work, build institutions, mechanisms, and policies for rapid and sustainable development, build a mechanism to mobilize resources for development, and at the same time lead and direct rapid and sustainable development; design tools for inspection, life to urge implementation, and direction of the industry's tasks; should not get caught up in specific tasks.
