Train SE1 named "Reunification Train" departed from Hanoi Station at 20:55 on April 29, passing through Thanh Hoa Station at 00:12 on April 30.

The train is responsible for taking passengers from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, with the most optimal ticket policy for those who have contributed to the country such as war invalids, sick soldiers, veterans and relatives of people who have contributed to the revolution.

Police forces and a large number of Thanh Hoa Station staff waited for Train SE1 named "The Reunification Train".

On the evening of April 29, train SE1 departed from Hanoi station at 20:55 and passed Thanh Hoa station at 00:12 on April 30.

Train SE4 departs from Saigon station at 7:00 p.m. on April 29 and is expected to arrive at Thanh Hoa station at 1:59 a.m. on May 1.

At exactly 12:40 on April 30, the two trains will meet at Da Nang Station.

During the journey, all railway staff on the train and at the station serving the Reunification train will wear red flag-and-yellow-star uniforms. The train will play revolutionary, victory and national pride songs to serve the passengers.

In addition, passengers of the two Thong Nhat trains will be able to "return" to the past through historical images of the railway industry, images of the 1975 Thong Nhat train in the exhibition area on the train.
