King Tuan Ngoc plays the zither and gongs in the MV "Vietnam's Pride"

In the solemn atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, King Pham Tuan Ngoc has just launched his passionate music project " Vietnam's Pride ."

Not just a simple artistic product, Tuan Ngoc said the MV is also a deep gratitude that he sends to the previous generation, those who fell for national peace and a strong declaration of the spirit of self-reliance and dedication of today's young generation of Vietnam.

More specifically, with this project, Tuan Ngoc did almost everything himself, from the idea, music arrangement, recording, editing to completing the MV. Tuan Ngoc revealed that he taught himself to play a series of traditional musical instruments such as the zither, flute, flute, gong, drum... without going to school, just with his intense love for Vietnamese culture.

“There were nights when I sat and listened to each drum beat and flute sound over and over again, rewriting the music, arranging it, and recording it myself. At 3 a.m., I was still busy adjusting the sound and editing the images. Every time I was able to master a new technique, I felt happy. It was hard, but worth it, ” the King shared.

“ Vietnam’s heroic spirit ” is an emotional concert, combining the rustic tones of traditional instruments with the heroic spirit of the Vietnamese people. Tuan Ngoc spent more than a month to complete the project, with the music alone taking two weeks to select the songs, arrange, record and mix the music. Tuan Ngoc believes that each instrument must be respected, given its own space to sublimate together in the overall arrangement, without overpowering each other.

Not only stopping at music, Tuan Ngoc also chose the setting, lighting, and edited the MV himself with the desire to breathe new life into the classic song, blending tradition and contemporary breath.

“I believe that when I do every detail myself, I not only create the most perfect product possible, but also learn the virtues of perseverance, creativity, and the spirit of not giving up in the face of difficulties , which are the things that our ancestors have instilled in us , ” Tuan Ngoc expressed.

It can be seen that Tuan Ngoc's journey with " Vietnam's Pride " is a beautiful story about the spirit of self-reliance - dedication and national pride. At a time when the whole country is looking forward to the important holiday, that action becomes even more meaningful.

Before “ Vietnam’s Pride ,” King Tuan Ngoc made an impression with the music project “A Round of Vietnam” released in 2024, before joining Mr. World 2024. In it, Tuan Ngoc performed the flute and zither solo. The MV features beautiful footage of the country’s scenic spots such as Lung Cu Flagpole, The Huc Bridge, Ha Long Bay, Hue Citadel, Dragon Bridge, etc., along with a series of images of Vietnamese people and culture, arousing love and national pride.
