With less than two weeks to go until the 80th National Day celebration on September 2, Hanoi's streets are filled with images of Party flags, national flags, lights, flowers and welcoming banners, creating a bustling, joyful atmosphere.
Many streets such as Hang Ma, Hang Luoc, Doc Lap Street... are colorful with flags hanging all over the space.
Flags are decorated quite a lot in small alleys and small streets in the center of Hoan Kiem ward.
Along Hang Ma Street, bustling shops sell flags, banners, shirts, hats and many other red and yellow decorations.
On this occasion, many young people took the opportunity to dress up in suitable costumes and take photos to express their national pride and love for their homeland.
Checking in with her family under the national and Party flags on Hang Luoc Street, Ms. Tran Bich Ngoc (Hai Ba Trung Ward) emotionally shared: “The streets these days are so beautiful, so brilliant. Every time I pass through the streets and see the red flag with yellow star fluttering, I feel moved. Every day I take the time to stop by to see the rows of flags. During the upcoming National Day holiday, I will go to Ba Dinh Square with my friends to take photos and capture this meaningful moment.”
Residential areas in the wards adjacent to the center are also gradually changing their appearance with bright red. The scene of construction work and hanging flags and flowers simultaneously makes the streets more vibrant than usual.
Other small streets were also filled with red by hundreds of national and party flags.
The area of Alley 150 Yen Phu (Tay Ho district) is decorated with colorful colors, bearing the typical characteristics of Hanoi streets.
Not only on the streets, many agencies, offices and schools in the capital were also decorated with flags and banners, creating a brilliant atmosphere, joining in the spirit of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
National Archives Center 1 on Vu Pham Ham Street stands out with a large national flag.
A hotel on Tong Dan Street is bright red to celebrate National Day.
An apartment building in Giang Vo ward is decorated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
On Doc Lap Street, in front of the National Assembly Building, a series of large-sized symbols and banners with images of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square in 1945 were solemnly and beautifully arranged, attracting the attention of many people and tourists.
In particular, these days Ba Dinh Square attracts a large number of people and tourists to take photos next to the national flag.
Each person who comes here has a different way of expressing themselves but shares the same pride and love for their homeland and country.
