The list of names participating this time includes Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Nguyen Thi Tra My and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh... These are all experienced faces, having competed internationally and playing key roles in the club as well as the national team. In addition, hitter Vi Thi Nhu Quynh has also returned to the team after competing with the team in the Philippines.
A notable point is the appearance of former player Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa this time not as an athlete, but as an assistant coach. She continues to accompany the team in her new position, supporting head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet in professional work. This is a rare time that Vietnamese women's volleyball has a famous former athlete taking on the position of assistant coach right during the training period.

Speaking to the press, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said the team is currently training in Quang Ninh with a positive spirit. The team will train throughout the April 30 and May 1 holidays, but will allow the athletes to rest at their base, ensuring a stable pace of living and training. When all players are present, the coaching staff will push for more intensive training.
Notably, this team has the participation of 20 athletes, many of whom are key players who have participated in the SEA Games and international tournaments.
Besides the athletes who have just returned from the club, other prominent faces such as Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Le Thanh Thuy and Nguyen Thi Uyen also fully participated. The team did not record any cases of withdrawal during this training session, which is rare and shows the determination of the athletes.
Regarding the coaching staff, Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said there are currently no plans to add more staff. Alongside him are two professional assistants, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa and Le Thi Hien, along with a fitness expert responsible for developing physical supplementary exercises.
Close coordination between technical coaches and fitness experts is expected to improve the overall fitness of the athletes, especially as the team prepares to enter important tournaments this year.
According to the plan, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will gather from now until August 30. During this time, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will actively train their players to aim for big goals this year such as the AVC Challenge Cup, the World Championship and the SEA V.League 2025.
