In their opening match of the second leg of the SEA V-League 2024 on the afternoon of August 9th, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team had a smooth start with a 3-1 victory over Indonesia. In the second leg, Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team will face the Philippines. In the first leg, the Vietnamese girls won with a score of 3-1.
Unlike the opening match, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet fielded his strongest lineup, including Bich Tuyen, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Pham Thi Hien, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Thi Trinh, and Tran Tu Linh.

In the first set, the two teams played an exciting back-and-forth game. However, after the score was tied 6-6, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team increased their lead before winning 25-16. In this set, Vietnam's offense did not rely too heavily on their main hitter, Bich Tuyen.
Set 2 proved more difficult for the Vietnamese girls as their opponents closely pursued the score. After the two teams tied 18-18, Kieu Trinh and Nguyen Thi Trinh scored crucial points to help the Vietnamese women's volleyball team win 25-20.
In set 3, there were no surprises as Bich Tuyen and her teammates won 25-22, securing a 3-0 victory overall.
In the final match of the second leg of the SEA V-League 2024, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will face Thailand again in a decisive match for the championship title, taking place at 6:00 PM on August 11th.
