On the morning of November 30th, the Forest Protection Department of Region VI (An Giang province), in coordination with U Minh Thuong National Park and the Vinh Hoa commune police, released a pangolin weighing approximately 2kg back into U Minh Thuong National Park.

According to a representative from the Forest Protection Department Region VI, at 6 PM on November 29th, while traveling to the 9 Niềm Bridge, Mr. Thái Hoài Anh, residing in Vĩnh Hiệp Hamlet, Vĩnh Hòa Commune, discovered a pangolin weighing approximately 2 kg crawling on the road. Mr. Hoài Anh brought it home and then reported it to the Vĩnh Hòa Commune Police. Upon receiving the information, the Vĩnh Hòa Commune Police contacted the Forest Protection Department Region VI to hand over the animal.
On the morning of November 30th, after checking the pangolin's health, the Forest Protection Department of Region VI, in coordination with U Minh Thuong National Park and the Vinh Hoa Commune Police, released the pangolin back into the forest.
