Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Dang Thi Hoa Ray; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Tiec Hung, together with leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels; former leaders, along with a large number of cadres, soldiers, union members, youth, and relatives of martyrs' families attended.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates offered flowers and incense at the Memorial and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. After the memorial service, the provincial leaders and delegates burned incense at each martyr’s grave, expressing their deep gratitude.
Imbued with the ethics of “When drinking water, remember its source” and “Repaying gratitude”, over the years, Tan Chau Town has always paid attention to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions. The “Repaying gratitude” movement has been widely implemented by Party committees and authorities at all levels, contributing to maintaining political stability and ensuring national defense and security in the area.
Promoting the heroic historical tradition of the nation, the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Chau constantly strive to develop the socio-economy, building the homeland to be increasingly rich, civilized and imbued with identity.
