The assets to be liquidated include all assets, tools, and materials at 11 branches, namely Hong Bang, Binh Duong, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Can Giuoc, Thanh Hoa, Vung Tau, Bac Ninh , Binh Dinh, Ben Tre, and Khanh Hoa.
The bidders are individuals and organizations with a need for the product.
Assets at each branch will be liquidated in bulk via a sealed bid process using a form prescribed by SCB. The liquidation committee will open the bids and select the highest bidder.
The winning bid price includes VAT.
Property viewings will take place in June.
This is not the first time SCB has liquidated assets. Over the past three years, SCB has repeatedly announced the liquidation of ATMs, cash transport vehicles, and many other assets.
In addition, SCB has significantly scaled back its network, with more than 100 branches having been notified to cease operations since the bank was placed under special supervision.
SCB is currently headquartered at 19-21-23-25 Nguyen Hue Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Prior to being placed under special supervision at the end of 2022, SCB had a charter capital of VND 20,020 billion, owned 239 transaction points in 29 provinces and cities, and had a staff of over 7,000 employees.
