Following last year's sensational CTPNo2 show, Chung Thanh Phong continues his success with the I Dreamed A Dream show at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort – a leading five-star beachfront resort in Vietnam. For the first time, the designer will unveil 80 limited-edition Haute Couture wedding dresses – a highly coveted luxury fashion line – on August 26th.
The collection is inspired by a girl's dream of fairytale dresses brought to life on her wedding day. The 80 limited-edition Haute Couture designs follow the most popular wedding dress trends in the world today, such as princess gowns, mermaid gowns, and corset-style dresses inspired by the Victorian era.
The gowns showcase the newest and most sophisticated techniques of the Chung Thanh Phong Bridal team, with each high-end dress taking hundreds of hours to complete. The designer spent six months conceptualizing and finishing the collection. To enhance the elegance and exclusivity, Chung Thanh Phong collaborated with jewelry maker ThreeTrees, marking the first time a collection of precious diamonds has been created exclusively for wedding dresses.
The event is expected to bring together 120 VIP guests, including many top stars such as Misses H'hen Niê, Tiểu Vy, Ngọc Châu, Lương Thùy Linh, Nhã Phương, Jun Vũ, Bảo Anh, Amee… along with wedding organizers and reputable fashion professionals from Vietnam and internationally.
According to Chung Thanh Phong, "I Dreamed A Dream" is his biggest investment to date in both design and organization for a fashion show. To provide guests with a thoughtful and luxurious experience over three days and two nights at the InterContinental Danang, the event also prepared personalized skincare sets from the Korean cosmetics brand KyungLab and Mira alkaline ionized water for each guest.
The designer expressed particular satisfaction at finding the ideal venue, one that perfectly suited the collection's concept and offered valuable experiences for the guests.
Chung Thanh Phong, born in 1988 in Da Nang , is one of the most renowned designers in the Vietnamese fashion industry. Since 2014, in addition to his ready-to-wear and evening gown lines, he has also been a leading wedding dress designer in Vietnam.
