On April 29, in Hanoi, the Institute of Educational Sciences and Environment, the Vietnam Cultural and Reading Foundation, the Institute of Cultural Anthropology, and the Hanoi Writers Association organized the launch of the book "The Road to the Future" (volume 1) by researcher and writer Nguyen Xuan Tuan.

Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Professor-Doctor Phung Xuan Nha - former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, former Minister of Education and Training; Lieutenant General, Hero of Labor, writer Huu Uoc - former Deputy Director General of the General Department of Politics (Ministry of Public Security), along with many leaders and former leaders of central and local agencies.

Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences and Environment Nguyen Van Khuong said that the book project has been implemented since 2019, hoping to provide insights into the country's future development in the fields of: Culture, history, economy, education, health, agriculture, science, technology and society, thereby contributing to the process of building a strong and sustainable Vietnam.

The book, published by the Sports and Tourism Publishing House, is nearly 1,000 pages thick, and includes several major groups of topics such as: Sustainable economic development model and economic risk management in the new era, Towards a sustainable national culture forever and some solutions for cultural risk management, The era of national growth and the path to the future.

Evaluating the book, Lieutenant General and writer Huu Uoc said that each idea in each part and chapter bears strong political, economic, cultural and social imprints, but is expressed vividly, making the message simple and accessible.

He emphasized that the interweaving of past and present, between civilizations, between different wars is expressed in simple, popular language, making it easy for readers to absorb and contemplate.

Chairman of the Hanoi Writers Association Tran Gia Thai said that this is a book of great significance and ideology, covering and synthesizing all fields from politics, economics, culture, society, life... The author not only simply summarizes the experiences of many generations across our planet on all aspects. Through that, he also gives comments and directions suggesting common development not only in our country but also in countries around the world./.
