Launching the " Bac Kan Land and People" Press Award, comrade Tran Thi Loc - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Organizing Committee said: The "Bac Kan Land and People" Press Award is organized to celebrate important events such as: 125 years of the founding of Bac Kan province (April 11, 1900 - April 11, 2025); 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), especially the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress...

Therefore, the organization of the "Bac Kan Land and People" Press Award has a very practical meaning, not only contributing to introducing the image of people, promoting the potential and strengths of Bac Kan province but also encouraging cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life in the province to enthusiastically participate in patriotic emulation movements; strengthening people's confidence in the development of the province and reflecting the positive contributions of Bac Kan province to the cause of national innovation.

Comrade Tran Thi Loc expressed her hope that through press works, the culture, people, potentials, advantages and positive results that Bac Kan province has achieved since its establishment will be promoted. This will contribute to fostering patriotism, strongly arousing the aspirations of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to compete in building Bac Kan province to develop rapidly and sustainably. Encourage, recognize and honor professional and non-professional journalists who have high-quality press works with great influence, contributing to improving the quality of information and propaganda work on "Bac Kan Land and People".

Speaking at the launching program, comrade Phuong Thi Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: The "Bac Kan Land and People" press award is an important event, not only contributing to introducing the image of people, promoting the potential and strengths of the province but also encouraging cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life in the province to enthusiastically participate in patriotic emulation movements; strengthening people's trust in the development of the province and the positive contributions of Bac Kan province to the cause of national innovation.

In order for the “Bac Kan Land and People” press award to achieve its set goals, comrade Phuong Thi Thanh requested that the host agency, the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department, after the launching program, should do a good job of propaganda to spread the purpose and meaning of the Press Award to the participants. Local and central press agencies located in the area should actively promote the content of the Press Award so that cadres, members, and reporters know and respond to participate in the award.
