According to sources from Dan Tri newspaper, during their two performances in Hanoi in July 2023, the members of the girl group Blackpink stayed at the Capella Hanoi Hotel on Le Phung Hieu Street (Hoan Kiem District). The hotel, awarded by the renowned travel magazine Travel + Leisure Asia Pacific in 2023 and 2024, was named the "Best Hotel in the City" in Vietnam. It is currently the only hotel in Vietnam with three Michelin-starred restaurants. The most luxurious room category is the Opera Suite, designed and decorated based on classic operas from around the world . The most luxurious Grand Opera Suite (pictured) had a listed price of over 163 million VND per night in 2024.
The Grand Opera Suite, named Madama Butterfly , spans 194 square meters and is located on the 7th floor of the hotel. The room's design is inspired by a classic opera telling the tragic love story of Cio-Cio San and the American naval officer John Pinkerton. The interior features a distinctly Eastern ambiance, with a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen that can accommodate 10 people. The cozy bedroom features a separate balcony, distinct from the living area. The standard "Super King" bed measures 200x220cm. Due to its extra-large size, this bed is typically used in Suite rooms, Presidential suites, and Royal suites for VIP and VVIP clients. The second most expensive room at the hotel is the Royal Opera Suite, a 123m² suite inspired by the One Thousand and One Nights fairy tale of Scheherazade, who charmed the cruel king with 1,001 captivating stories to save her own life.
The room is designed to be flooded with natural light and features a separate living room, bar, dining area, and bedroom. The listed price for the room is over 119 million VND per night.
