Quoc Thien sings about "the deepest pain".
Singer Quoc Thien has just released the music video " The Ultimate Pain," a reunion with musician Le Cuong and director Kien Ung.
Le Cuong wrote the song, based on Quoc Thien's vocals, telling the story of the pain of being left behind despite having overcome all obstacles with their loved one.
As a singer specializing in sad songs, Quoc Thien doesn't want the audience to be consumed by pain; instead, the song is like an embrace he offers to those who have been hurt in love.
In the music video "The Ultimate Pain ," Kien Ung uses imagery and small details to tell a story. Through the contrasting scenes between the boy and the girl, light and shadow, the stage and the audience, the chessboard of love, etc., viewers can somewhat understand the nature of the relationship between the two characters.

Quoc Thien highly appreciates Kien Ung's creativity and ability to translate ideas into visual language – which explains why he always places special trust in the director.
Sharing more about the project, Quoc Thien chose "The Utmost Pain" as his first musical product this year because he believes that the rainy season is the perfect time for audiences to seek out sad ballads.
"Although the song may evoke memories or past stories, I hope that when listening, the audience will have the opportunity to reflect on their emotions in a gentler way, to soothe their souls, heal old wounds, and be ready to embrace new journeys of love," he said.
