Discover the place where Uncle Ho left to find a way to save the country

On June 5, 1911, at Nha Rong port , young man Nguyen Tat Thanh boarded the ship Amiral Latouche Treville, beginning a 30-year journey to save the country.

Today, Ben Nha Rong has become the Ho Chi Minh Museum, where many artifacts related to his life and career are preserved and displayed. Opening hours are from 7:30 to 11:30 and from 13:30 to 17:00, Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Monday for maintenance). Admission fee is 20,000 VND, free for students.

Along Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1), right in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters is the statue of President Ho Chi Minh - a sacred symbolic work of the city named after him.

The monument was inaugurated on May 17, 2015, on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of his birth. The monument is made of bronze, 7.2 meters high, placed on a red granite pedestal, behind is a row of green trees and the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee with ancient French architecture.

There are two types of tickets with prices ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 VND for sightseeing only, not visiting the exhibition “From Norodom Palace to Independence Palace 1868 - 1966”, from 15,000 to 65,000 VND for visiting both the hall and the exhibition.
